In B.V.M Dugri on 18th March 2018 shobha yatra in celebration of Nav Samvat was held. It was emphasized through the banners that we should curb social evils & we should stick to our culture & tradition. To say welcome to “New Hindu Year”, ‘Surya Arghya” was offered by the students in Durga Mata Mandir, so that god Surya showers light & new energy for the upcoming year. Tree plantation was also organized in the temple & children were told about its importance. Havan was performed in which Principal Mam & all the staff members of the school were present to mark the importance of the day. Principal Mam Mrs. Ranjit Kaur gave the message that we should try to reduce social evils & do away with female foeticide & save our girl child.
