BVM Dugri celebrated the festival of birthday of Lord Rama (Ram Navami) on 12th April 2016. Ram Darbar was decorated with pictures & posters to add the scenario of the celebration. The chaupaiyan from Ramayana were recited & this further increased the value of the function. A speech was delivered highlighting the great qualities of Lord Rama Bhajan poem and fancy dress were also important events. The audience was spell bound. B.V.M also celebrated Baisakhi, the festival of beginning of harvesting the wheat crop. This was celebrated with great enthusiasm. The students performed various events like poems and shabad. There was also an event like speech highlighting the importance of the day. The traditional dance of Bhangra by the boys and Giddha by girls was performed on the stage which was liked by one and all.
