NATIONAL POLLUTION CONTROL DAY « 02/Dec/2024
Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Sr. Sec. School, Dugri observed National Pollution Control Day to instil awareness among the students about environmental pollution and it's disastrous consequences. The day is celebrated every year in memory of the people who lost their lives in the Bhopal Gas Tragedy. Aarushi, Class IX student explained the significance of the day. Class VI students enacted a play to apprise everyone of the various ways to control and reduce pollution. Ravneet and Japman, class I students recited beautiful poems related to this issue. Poster making and slogan writing activity was also done. Pledge was also taken by the students and the staff to work collectively towards a pollution free, better world, a greener earth and sustainable future. Principal, Ms. Manisha Madaan, encouraged the students to understand the importance of preserving natural resources and discouraging further depletion of the environment.
