Annual Cultural Day and Prize Distribution Ceremony « 13/Nov/2024

Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Sr. Sec. School, Dugri recently celebrated its Annual Cultural Day and Prize Distribution Ceremony, "धरोहर हमारी संस्कृति, हमारी सभ्यता" The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including the Guest of Honour, Mrs. Anusha Gupta, accompanied by her husband, Mr. Shubham Gupta. Prominent members of the BVM Trust graced the occasion, including President Sh. Manoj Gupta Ji, Vice President Sh. R.K. Behl Ji, Secretary Sh. Prakash Chand Goyal Ji, Joint Secretary Sh. Rajeev Puri Ji, and members Sh. Adeesh Bamba Ji, Sh. Desh Deepak Sharma Ji, Sh. K.C. Maini Ji, and Sh. Phoolchand Jain Ji. The celebration commenced with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony, invoking the blessings of Maa Saraswati. This was followed by the Prize Distribution Ceremony and an insightful annual report by Principal, Mrs. Manisha Madaan. The day was marked by a series of cultural performances reflecting the theme "धरोहर हमारी संस्कृति, हमारी सभ्यता ", a beautiful poem, a delightful welcome dance, various group dances and insightful play, a powerful choreography based on Mahabharata, left the audience enthralled, gidda and Bhangra performance in "पंजाब दे रंग गबरू ते मुटियारां दे संग" mesmerized the audience. Mrs. Anusha Gupta, the Guest of Honour, an alumni of the school, inspired the students with her journey and emphasized the vital role of teachers in shaping their future. The celebration concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Sh. Phoolchand Jain Ji and Secretary Sh. Prakash Chand Goyal Ji, ending on a patriotic note with "Vande Mataram".
