NATIONAL MATHEMATICS DAY
National Mathematics Day is celebrated every year on December 22, honouring the birth anniversary of mathematical genius Srinivasa Ramanujan. The students of Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Sr. Sec. School, Dugri celebrated the birth anniversary of this great mathematical genius on virtual platform followed by a speech given by our Maths Teacher Ms. Neha. As part of the celebrations, tic-tac toe competition was organised for class I and II follwed by cognitive skills. Class III and IV students played an act on Maths ki kahani sab ki zubaani, an activity on clock was also presented and also fun activities were follwed on graph papers. Angles learning activity and riddles on Mathematics were performed by V class students. The students of class VI & VII depicted the famous rule of BODMAS through a skit. Class VIII-X students also participated in a maths quiz where they fought face-to-face challenging questions. At the end of the day the celebration was a great success and it was an enjoyable day for the students. Principal Ms. Manisha Madaan ended with a quote “Mathematics is the biggest motivation because it starts from zero and goes up to infinity.”
