Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Sr. Sec. School, Dugri rejoiced the harvest festival of Baisakhi and Dr. Ambedkar Jayanti with immense gusto and enthusiasm with students and parents. The festivity became all the more graceful with the presence of Sh. K.C. Maini ji, President BVM Trust, Principal Red Rose Model High School, Er. Pardeep Kumar Dhamija and Mrs. Malika, Teacher-New Mahavir High School. The celebration commenced with Lamp Lightning and prayer. Mr. Lakhvir Singh briefed about the importance of Baisakhi and Dr. Ambedkar Jayanti. A melodious shabad by students of Class-6 left everyone spellbound. Dance presentation by little munchkins of Shishu vatika brought vibrancy and cheerfulness to the environment. The students of class 6 paid a tribute to the Martyrs of Jallianwala Bagh through a short enactment. Gidha and Bhangra by students of Class-9 and 10 boomed the merry mood of all on this pleasurable festival. Aptly decorated stage and Mela depicted the joy of harvest season decked with phulkaries, charkhas and flowers. Extending her greetings Principal Mrs. Manisha Madaan thanked President Sir, guests and parents and wished that may the festival of Baisakhi brings peace and happiness to all.
