Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Sr. Sec. School, Dugri celebrated the birth anniversary of the former President and missile man of India APJ Abdul Kalam with great enthusiasm. A wide array of intellectual activities were held to mark the day. Ms. Swaranjit Kaur (PRT) verbalized students about the remarkable and outstanding achievements of Kalam Ji giving an eye opening reference to his biographical aspects. Students of classes V to VII showcased their scientific and technological caliber through various working models. Students wholeheartedly participated in slogan writing activity and to pay tribute to the great scientist, a Kavi Sammelan was also organised which is based on the Kalam's poems by the students of classes VIII to XI. Principal, Ms. Manisha Madaan, exhorted the students to follow simplicity and aim high like Abdul Kalam Ji.
