Bhartiya Vidya Mandir High School, Dugri celebrated World Book Day on April 23, 2022 enthusiastically. Various unique activities were planned for all the classes to encourage reading habits among students. Ms. Swaranjeet Kaur (PPRT) briefed all about the importance and significance of celebrating the day. Students of Class I, II and III showcased their love for books through book reading activity. Asmita, student of Class IV recited beautiful poem on the day. Middle section students exhibited their creativity by making some beautiful bookmarks. Class IX and X students presented their views on the topic ‘Books are our best friends.’ Speaking on the occasion, Principal Ms. Manisha Madaan, said “Reading is an investment which has great returns.” She encouraged students to become avid readers and to constantly endeavor to enhance their vocabulary.
