BhartiyaVidyaMandirHighSchool,Dugri celebrated EarthDay on Apri 22, 2022 with enthusiasm. A myriad of activities were planned for the day. This year’s theme of the day is “Invest In Our Planet.” Ms. Richa (TGT Sci) sensitized students about the bountiful Mother Nature and how our irresponsible actions are causing her to cherish. Students of Class II, Rahul and Armaanjot, presented their concern for Earth through poem recitation. Class III and IV students depicted their creativity through slogan writing and poster making activity. A documentary was also shown to the students to motivate them to preserve and conserve their self-sustaining planet. Quiz was also conducted for the students of Class V, VI and VII. Students planted saplings of their choice on the school premises and at home to keep their surroundings clean and green. Green pledge was also taken to save Earth. Principal, Ms. Manisha Madaan, said that each individual must contribute to make the planet a healthy place to live for future generation.
