Bhartiya Vidya Mandir High School, Dugri celebrated
Prakash Utsav of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the first of the ten Sikh Gurus, with great exuberance.
Ms. Lakhwinder Kaur (TGT Punjabi) apprised students about the significance of the auspicious occasion. Students disseminated information about the life history of Guru Nanak Dev Ji and were inspired to follow his path and principles.
‘Mool Mantra’ enchanted by
students of class III sparked a religious fervour in air.
Inter house Shabad Gayan Competition was also organised in which Aurobindo House bagged first position, Bhagat Singh House Second and Vivekananda House stood third.
After Ardaas, students sat on floors in lines and relished homemade food brought by them in their tiffins as that helped in clearing the concept of
Langar and inculcated the values of Dignity, Respect and Equality for all amongst them.
Principal, Ms. Manisha Madaan, wished Happy Gurpurab to all. She inspired the students to incorporate the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji in their life and develop love for humanity through their actions.
