Bhartiya Vidya Mandir High School, Dugri celebrated World Food Day on Oct 16, 2021 to enable the students to understand that every human being has a fundamental right to be free from hunger and right to adequate food. Ms. Baljinder (PRT) sensitized the students about the importance of following a balanced diet and the significance of celebrating the day. To inculcate the healthy habits in students which is the need of the hour, various activities were planned. Aaniya of class VI and Gurleen of class VII recited beautiful poem. Poster making activity was also conducted to mark the day. Students of class I to V explained the benefits and the nutritional value of their respective dish bought by them in their tiffin. Principal Ms. Manisha Madaan, applauded the students for their efforts. She motivated them to adopt healthy eating habits and to make it their goal to avoid food wastage.
