‘’Give the Girl Child, wings to fly, let her blossom and touch the sky.”
Bhartiya Vidya Mandir High School, Dugri celebrated the International Girl Child Day on 11th October, 2021 to recognize girl’s right and the unique challenges girl face around the world. Ms. Aaina (Arts Teacher) spoke on the observance of the day. She envisioned us that the day increases awareness about the gender inequality faced by women all over the world. A myriad of activities were also conducted to highlight the fact that the girls are the epitome of strength, love, sacrifice and courage. Khushpreet of Class VII presented her views through a beautiful poem woven around the importance and role of girls. The students also expressed their firm belief and demand on Gender Equality through Slogan writing activity. The students were also shown a glimpse of the current state of the girls and their contribution in society through a PPT. Principal Ms. Manisha Madaan, gave her warm wishes and blessings to all the girls and encouraged them to “work with a mission” to succeed in life.
