Bhartiya Vidya Mandir High school, Dugri celebrated the International Dance Day, a global celebration of dance, created by the Dance Committee of the International Theatre Institute (ITI).
Mrs. Pooja our Music and Dance teacher gave a speech on this day and said, "The event takes place every year on 29 April, which is the anniversary of the birth of Jean-Georges Noverre (1727–1810), the creator of modern ballet. The day strives to encourage participation and education in dance through events and festivals held on the date all over the world. Students of different classes gave their energetic performances on different dance forms to celebrate this day.
Principal Mrs. Manisha Madaan said, "Dance is the hidden language of the soul. Any kind of dancing is better than no dancing at all."
