Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati Jayanti was celebrated in BVM DUGRI to remember a renowned scholar and the founder of Arya Samaj. A special assembly was arranged on this occasion in which our school, teacher Ms. Aaina apprised the students with a few facts about Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati. She further told that Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati Ji opposed the social evils like caste system, child marriage and discrimination against women. Swami Ji urged people to stop practicing untouchability. Principal Mam Mrs. Ranjit Kaur gave the message that we should follow the path shown by Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati Ji. She further added that all actions should be performed with the objective of benefitting mankind.
