To empower students to use technology responsibly, critically and creativity, Safer Internet Day is celebrated at BVM HIGH SCHOOL, DUGRI on feb 11, 2020. Mr. Sahil Arora, computer teacher, discussed certain issues such as cyber bullying and social networking with the students and guided them how to use internet safely. A documentary was also screened for the students highlighting positive use of technology and to explore the role we all play in helping to create a better and safer online community.
International day of Women and girls in Science is also observed in school. To recognize women’s participation and achievements in science and technology, engineering and math education, Quiz activity was also organized for the students of class VI & VII. Principal mam Mrs. Ranjit Kaur urged the students to use internet safely. She further inspired and motivated the girl students to be completely dedicated and passionate about what they do as “There is no limit to what we do, as women can accomplish.”
