To increase the awareness of issues that the girl faces in the society, BVM HIGH SCHOOL, DUGRI observed National Girl Child Day on Jan 24, 2020. School teacher, Ms. Sarika, while speaking on the occasion threw light on the importance of the day and acquainted everyone with the inequalities against the girl with respect to their right to education, nutrition, legal rights etc. Quiz on Achievements of Indian Women during the year 2018 and 2019 was also organized for the students of class VII and IX to make them aware of the women empowerment. Principal Mam Ms. Ranjit Kaur, addressed the students that it is very necessary for the girls to access their full potential and they should be aware of all their rights and the facts of life.
