BVM DUGRI celebrated
Swami Vivekananda’s Birth Anniversary on 11
th Jan. 2020.
Sneha, A student of class IX apprised the students about life history of Swami ji. A
play depicting teachings of swami ji was staged by students of class VI and VII. One more important festival i.e.
‘Lohri’ was also celebrated with great zeal and fervor on 11
th Jan, 2020.To expand the vision and reducing the discrimination between the gender of male and female. Students presented a beautiful
Geet ‘Puttan Wang Manayiye Dhian Dia Lohrian’. Our school teacher
Ms. Baljinder Kaur delivered a
speech highlighting the importance of
Lohri and
Makar Sakranti. To provide charm and cheer to the Lohri festival, Students of class I and II presented
Giddha and
Bhangra was presented by class III and IV. Principal mam
Mrs. Ranjit Kaur gave the message that we should provide equal importance to girls and boys. Festivals are celebrated to unite the family member and to strengthen the bond of love between them.
