Human Rights Day was celebrated in BVM DUGRI on 10th Dec, 2019 to highlight the importance of the day. Our social studies teacher Mrs. Mamta made the students acquainted that this is a day of Universal Declaration of Human Rights which was adopted and proclaimed by the General Assembly of United Nations. She further said that human rights are basic rights based on values like Dignity, Fairness, Equality and Respect. A Documentary was also shown to classes IV to VII depicting the history of this day. Principal mam Mrs. Manisha Madaan gave the message that with determination, we all need to stand up for human rights.
