WORKSHOP ON AWARENESS OF VARIOUS TRAFFIC RULES
To make students aware of the various traffic rules, a workshop was conducted at *BVM HIGH SCHOOL, DUGRI* on May 23, 2019. *Ms. Himanshi Arora* and *Mr. Pankaj Kumar* (Safety Riding coordinators) from *Honda Motorcycle* & *Scooter India Pvt Ltd* (in association with Municipal Corporation Ludhiana) briefed the students of class VI-X  about various traffic rules through a seminar. Common careless mistakes made by people were also discussed among students. A small demonstration regarding crossing and road cycling rules was also given to the students of class IV-VII. Few traffic signboards were specified and their significance was explained. Students of class I-V were given knowledge about the science through card activity. Students understood the consequences of over-speeding, signal jumping, carelessness, not wearing helmets or seatbelt, use of mobile phone and many other unlawful practices on the road. Overall it was a very informative session for the staff, students and campus drivers. *Principal Mam, Mrs. Ranjit Kaur*, also appealed the students to follow traffic rules to maintain safety for one and all.
