PAPER BAG DAY « 12/Jul/2026
Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, Dugri Branch, commemorated Paper Bag Day with great zeal and environmental consciousness. A series of awareness-driven activities was organised to reinforce the importance of sustainable living and responsible environmental practices.
Students enthusiastically participated in paper bag making and slogan writing, reaffirming their commitment to replacing plastic and polythene bags with eco-friendly paper and jute alternatives. The Class XII students delivered compelling presentations highlighting the detrimental impact of plastic pollution and advocating the widespread adoption of sustainable substitutes.
Addressing the gathering, Mrs. Gurkeerat Kaur enlightened the students about the significance of Paper Bag Day and inspired them to embrace environmentally responsible choices in their everyday lives. In her message, Principal Mrs. Jyoti Garg emphasised that environmental stewardship must become an integral part of our lifestyle and encouraged everyone to contribute towards a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future through conscious and eco-friendly practices.
