Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Sr. Sec. School, Dugri celebrated Mother’s Day with immense enthusiasm & heartfelt emotions. The celebration commenced with an inspiring speech by Preeti of Class XI, who eloquently expressed gratitude towards mothers & highlighted their invaluable role in shaping children’s lives. Palak of Class X spoke beautifully on the significance of mothers & the deep emotional bond shared with them. The cultural segment featured vibrant dance performances by students of Classes I to V, a touching poem recited by Class IV students, & a melodious song presented by students of Classes V & VI. Their performances captivated the audience and filled the atmosphere with warmth & joy. Various creative activities added charm to the celebration. Shishu Vatika & students of Classes I to V prepared attractive greeting cards for their mothers, while Classes VI to VIII designed beautiful flower bouquets. Students of Classes IX & X showcased their creativity by making elegant accessories for mothers. A “Cooking without fire” activity was also organised, encouraging students to prepare healthy dishes innovatively. The Principal, Ms. Manisha Madaan addressed all with an inspiring message on respecting & valuing mothers for their endless dedication and affection. The celebration concluded on a joyful and emotional note, leaving everyone with feelings of gratitude & admiration for mothers.
