Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Sr. Sec. School, Dugri celebrated International Dance Day with immense fervour and vibrant spirit on 29th April 2026. The event aimed to promote artistic expression and encourage students to explore their talent in dance. The programme began with an insightful address by Ms. Pooja Dutta, who highlighted the importance of dance as a form of expression and cultural connection. An Inter-House Dance Competition was organised & the competition was held in two categories—Junior (Classes I to V) and Senior (Classes VI to IX). Students of Pre-Nursery to UKG also presented delightful solo dance performances. Showcasing outstanding coordination and creativity, Aurobindo House secured the First Positionin both the Junior and Senior categories. School Principal, Mrs. Manisha Madaan appreciated the commendable efforts of students and teachers, stating that such activities enhance confidence, creativity, and overall personality development among students.
