Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Sr. Sec. School, Dugri celebrated World Book Day on 23rd April 2026 with great zeal to promote the habit of reading among students.
The event began with an inspiring speech by Mr. Karan Sharma who highlighted the importance of books in shaping knowledge and character. A thoughtful speech was also delivered by Lovely Rajbhar of Class VIII, encouraging students to develop a love for reading. Adding to the literary spirit, Rahil of Class VI beautifully recited a poem. Various engaging activities like book reading for all classes, slogan writing, and poster making were also conducted under the guidance of Ms. Aaina.
Principal Mam, Mrs. Manisha Madaan encouraged students by saying “Books are our best companions. Such activities help students build imagination, creativity, and a lifelong love for learning.”
