WORLD EARTH DAY « 22/Apr/2026
“The Earth is what we all have in common—let us protect it together.”
Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Sr. Sec. School, Dugri celebrated Earth Day on 22 April 2026 with great zeal and active student participation. The event began with an inspiring speech by our Science Teacher Ms. Richa, motivating students to take responsibility for the environment.
Students of Classes II-III enthusiastically took part in a plantation drive, while Classes IX–XII spread awareness by promoting the use of reusable bags. A heartfelt poem recitation by Classes VII & VIII added a creative touch to the day. An informative documentary for Classes IV–VI, guided by Ms. Richa, helped students understand the importance of conserving nature.
On this occasion, school Principal, Mrs. Manisha Madaan encouraged students to become responsible citizens and take small steps like planting trees, saving water, and reducing plastic use to protect Mother Earth.
