Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, Dugri commemorated the 77th Republic Day with great fervour, patriotic spirit, and solemn dignity. The celebration is conducted under the presence of honourable members of BVM Trust, Sh. Rajiv Puri ji (Joint secretary) and Mr. D. D. Sharma ji (Member of BVM Trust). The program started with Deep Prajwalan. Dignitaries of BVM Trust unfurled flag in the school premises, followed by the rendition of the National anthem. Oath ceremony was conducted by Mrs. Pooja & Mrs. Kusum, a faculty member, delivered an inspiring and thought-provoking speech highlighting the significance of Republic Day. She underscored the importance of the Indian Constitution. The occasion was further enriched by a melodious patriotic song presented by the teachers, which evoked deep sentiments of nationalism among all those present. Mr. Rajiv Puri ji (joint secretary of BVM Trust) wished everyone a proud & joyous Republic Day & said that Republic Day serves as a reminder not only of the rights enshrined in our constitution but also of the duties entrusted to us. Vote of thanks was presented by Principal, Mrs. Manisha Madaan and remarked, “If we have received rights and privileges, then we should take a pledge to fulfill our responsibilities towards children. By embracing constitutional values, we must endeavour to become responsible, conscientious and empowered citizens.”
