PAPER BAG DAY « 11/Jul/2025
Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Sr. Sec. School, Dugri observed paper bag day on 11th July with a special assembly where Ms. Harpreet our school teacher gave a speech to raise awareness about the harmful effects of plastic and the benefits of using paper bags. Students used old newspapers and magazines to create paper bags. Debate Competition was conducted for classes 10th - 12th on paper bags. A beautiful poem was sung by the students of Class 1 & 2. Students of classes 3rd - 5th collaborated and developed one act play on the topic - ‘Why plastic is unhealthy for nature?’ Principal Ms. Manisha Madaan expressed her views that By choosing paper bags over plastic, we can make a significant impact on the environment and empower the youth to become catalysts for change.
