Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Sr. Sec. School, Dugri, celebrated Van Mahotsav Week with great zeal and enthusiasm to promote environmental awareness and sustainability. The event commenced with an inspiring speech by Ms. Richa, who emphasized the importance of trees and collective responsibility towards protecting nature. A house-wise poem recitation competition was conducted where students expressed their love. Students also enthusiastically participated in slogan writing & poster-making activities, showcasing their creativity. A plantation drive was organized in the school campus, where students planted saplings and took pledges to nurture them. To further strengthen the message, a rally was conducted in the nearby areas where students carried banners and raised slogans on the importance of saving trees and protecting the environment. The highlight of the week was a thought-provoking play performed by the students of Class VI, which depicted the urgent need for action.
On this occasion, Principal, Mrs. Manisha Madaan addressed the students and staff, saying, "Celebrating Van Mahotsav is not just an activity but it's our duty towards Motherland. I am proud of our students who have shown such awareness and responsibility”
