Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Sr. Sec. School, Dugri celebrated World Earth Day with sincerity and a sense of commitment. A range of activities were planned for the day. This year’s theme of the day is “Our Power, Our Planet.” Ms. Baljinder Kaur (PRT) sensitized students about the bountiful Mother Nature and how our irresponsible actions are causing her to cherish. Our Little Earth Buddy Riddhima Bedi of class V, expressed her view poetically on Mother Earth. Students depicted their creativity through slogan writing and poster making activity. Residents of the surrounding area were motivated to preserve and conserve their self-sustaining planet through placards. Saplings were also distributed. A thought provoking Nukkad Natak by Students of class V and VII also conveyed the little ways by which we can take care of our Earth. Principal, Ms. Manisha Madaan, said that each individual must contribute to make the planet a healthy place to live for future generation.
