INTERNATIONAL DAY OF WOMEN IN SCIENCE « 11/Feb/2025
Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Sr. Sec. School, Dugri celebrated International Day of Women and Girls in Science. This day was declared as an international day by the United Nations General Assembly on February 11, 2015, to recognize the contributions of women and girls in science. Mrs. Baljinder Kaur provided detailed information about the significance of this day. Students of Classes VI and VII delivered speeches on the contributions of women scientists in the field of science. On this occasion, the school principal, Mrs. Manisha Madaan, encouraged all students to take inspiration from these great and distinguished women in science and follow in their footsteps.
