WORLD SOIL DAY « 05/Dec/2024
Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Sr. Sec. School, Dugri celebrated World Soil Day in order to raise awareness about the importance of healthy soil. This year the theme for the day is Caring for Soils: Measure, Monitor, Manage. Ms. Ritika (PRT) briefed the students about the degrading condition of the soil, its impact and its prevention. Students of class U.KG recited poems emphasising the vital role of soil and the need for its preservation. Creative activities were planned for the students of pre-primary wing. Students enthusiastically did art work using soil and coloured the poster. Principal, Ms. Manisha Madaan, advised all to take care of soil and water for the lives of future generations, as these are life making ingredients.
