INDIAN NAVY DAY « 04/Dec/2024
Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Sr. Sec. School, Dugri celebrated Indian Navy Day to commemorate the attack and to accomplish the role of naval force. This day pays tribute to the courage and determination exhibited by Indian Navy in 1971 Indo-Pak war during operation Trident. Ms. Suman briefed the students about the Navy’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding national interests and upholding impeccable maritime security. To pay homage to supreme sacrifices of our brave hearts, student of Class II recited a heart touching poem. A documentary was also shown to the students to make them understand the history behind celebrating the day. Principal, Ms. Manisha Madaan, acknowledging the contributions of the naval forces in maintaining peace and security, motivated the students to inculcate the values of unity and patriotism.
