B.V.M Dugri celebrated Earth Day on April 22, 2017. Various activities were performed to highlight the celebration. A special assembly was held where in students were told about the importance of environment conversation. Students participated in tree plantation. A rally was organized in which students gave message to save earth planet through the banners. Slogans like “Earth ka kuch karo nahi to anarth ho jayega” and “Sansein ho rahi hai kam, aao ped lagaayein hum” were the main attraction of rally. Class 9th and 10th participated in quiz contest. In which out of three teams namely “Vasundhara”, “Prithivi” and “Bhumi”, team “Prithivi” was winner. The winners were appreciated for their effective participation. Principal mam Mrs. Ranjit Kaur gave message to decorate the earth with the jewels of plants and trees. She further added that ‘Save Water’ and ‘Save electricity’ to make earth beautiful place to live in.
