WORLD SOIL DAY « 05/Dec/2023
Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Sr. Sec. School, Dugri celebrated World Soil Day in order to raise awareness about the importance of healthy soil. This year the theme for the day is Soil and water, a source of life. Ms. Varsha (PGT) briefed the students about the degrading condition of the soil, its impact and its prevention. A new and creative activity was planned for the students of pre- primary wing. They enthusiastically made small earthen pots, put soil in it and sowed plants. A plantation drive was also done in the school premises. Principal, Ms. Manisha Madaan, advised all to take care of soil and water for the lives of future generations, as these are life making ingredients.
