The country will become great only when unity will become our identity.
Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Sr. Sec. School, Dugri celebrated National Unity Day with great zeal and patriotism. To mark the day, a special assembly was organised. Mrs. Kusum Dawar briefed the students that the day is celebrated to mark the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel who had played an important role in the political integration of India. The whole assembly echoed with the words of pledge taken by all for the unity of the country. Students presented the culture of different states - Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. Manthan of Class-10recited a beautiful poem on the unity of the country. The tiny tots of kindergarten depicted a dance that filled the atmosphere with the feeling of integrity and brotherhood. Principal, Mrs. Manisha Madaan motivated all by saying that we should always maintain our unity for progress of society as well as country.
