Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Sr. Sec. School, Dugri observed World Literacy Day to make the students aware about the importance of literacy. Ms. Richa (TGT Sci) delivered a speech highlighting the need for augmented efforts towards more literate societies. Students also pledged to read everyday. Students of Primary and Middle section made posters and wrote slogans on literacy. A documentary was also shown to students to motivate the young learners to learn and teach as many people as they can. Principal, Ms. Manisha Madaan, laying stress on education said that with literacy and knowledge you can remove the darkness in mind and enlighten it for a brighter future.
