Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Sn. Sec. School, Dugri celebrated Kargil Vijay Diwas to commemorate the victory of Operation Vijay. Ms. Kusum (TGT Eng) apprised the students about the importance of the day. The day is celebrated to mark India’s victory against Pakistan in the 1999 war. Students were shown an informative and enlightening video documentary to familiarise them with the glorious deeds of the martyrs. Student of primary section paid rich tributes to the fallen heroes through slogan writing activity. Students of class III remembered the exemplary courage of the brave soldiers through poem. Speaking on the occasion, Principal Ms. Manisha Madaan said that patriotism is a social value. The feeling of which is to be inculcated at school level to make sure that students become the responsible citizen of our Nation.
