Martyrdom Day of Bhagat Singh was celebrated at Bhartiya Vidya Mandir High School, Dugri. On 23 March 1931, Bharat Mata's brave son Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev was hanged by the British rule. The saga of these sons of Mother India has been very proud. On this occasion, our school's teacher Ms. Lakhwinder Kaur told that Martyrs' Day is celebrated to remember and honor the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the country. These heroes who sacrificed their lives in the freedom struggle are our idols. On this occasion, the student of class II of the school presented a poem on Bhagat Singh. Principal of the school Mrs. Manisha Madaan ji gave a message to the children that we should never forget all those heroes and by paying tribute to them all must be respected.
