Bhartiya Vidya Mandir High School, Dugri celebrated the vibrant festival Holi with great fun and fervour. Holi is the festival which commemorates the victory of good over evil, brought about by the burning and destruction of the evil demon named Holika. A special assembly was conducted in which Ms. Sampda (TGT Hindi) narrated the students the story of Holika and highlighted the significance of the festival. She also oriented the students about the precautionary measures to be taken while playing Holi. Student of Class V, Rishi, recited a beautiful poem on the most colourful festival. The main attraction of the celebration was the flower shower wherein flowers were showered on the students to mark the festival. The Principal, Ms. Manisha Madaan, stated that Holi is the festival of new hope, new beginning and new opportunity. She also advised the students to play Holi only with organic colours.
