INDEPENDENCE DAY
Marking the freedom and glory of the nation, Bhartiya Vidya Mandir High School, Dugri celebrated its 75th Independence Day (Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav) with full zeal and enthusiasm. The celebration commenced with the flag hoisting ceremony followed by singing National Anthem in unison saluting our pride, the National Flag. Mr. Kailash Chandra Maini Ji (Vice President of BVM Trust) accompanied by Mr. Prakash Chand Goyal Ji (Secretary of BVM Trust) also grace the occasion with their benign presence. All pleaded to share their all endeavours for the peace and prosperity of nation by being the Indian in real sense. Ms. Sarabjeet emancipated an inspiring speech on the auspicious eve awakening everyone. Melodious patriotic song was presented by Mr. Sahil (School teacher) boosted the national spirit in all. Students and the parents witnessed the whole program live virtually. A concoction of online events ranging from melodious patriotic songs, poems, dance performances to slogan writing were performed by students of all classes. Mr. P. C. Goyal Ji congratulated on the 75th Independence Day and gave a stirring speech in which he highlighted the achievement of Neeraj Chopra, who won gold medal in Olympics this year and motivated all to utilise their potential to the maximum to make India proud and shine. This was followed by vote of thanks by Principal, Ms. Manisha Madaan. She addressed all appealing to their nationalistic spirit and urged students to realise and understand their worth and work towards progressive nation. The program concluded on a note of national pride and honour with everybody singing the National Song ‘Vande Matram’.
