Martyrdom day of Amar shaheed Udham Singh was observed by Bhartiya Vidya Mandir High School, Dugri on 31st July. School teacher Mrs. Vandana told us about this great freedom fighter. Udham Singh was a Indian freedom struggle's revolutionary activist, best known for assassinating Michael O' Dwyer in March 1940. He was also known as an avenging of the Jallianwalla Bagh Massacre Udham Singh was also known as Ram Mohammed Azad, symbolizing the unification of the three major religions of India: Hinduism, Islam and Sikhism. Thoughtful poem was presented by class 10th student. Principal Mrs. Manisha Madaan paid her homage by saying, Udham Singh was a nationalist Indian revolutionary who has made a historic contribution to Indian independence. We always remember him for his sacrifice for Nation.
