SWARNIM BHARAT
A rainbow of colours unfurled on the stage as B.V.M Dugri celebrated its ANNUAL DAY around the theme of “SWARNIM BHARAT” with great zest, vibrancy and elation. The evening was reserved for a gala presentation Dr. Jatinder Gulati (Former Dean, College of Home Science PAU, Ldh) was the esteemed Chief Guest and Dr. Rahul Chopra (MBBS, MD Radiologist at SPS Hospital) was guest of honour. The occasion was also graced by the members of B.V.M Trust- Sh. M.M. Bamba Ji (President of BVM Trust and Manager of BVM Dugri), Sh. P.C. Goyal Ji (Secretary of BVM Trust), Sh. Shubhkaran Jain Ji (Joint Secretary of BVM Trust), Sh. K.C. Maini Ji (Vice President of BVM Trust), Sh. Manoj Gupta Ji (Treasurer of BVM Trust), PressParents and Students. The function commenced with lighting of lamp by our worthy Chief Guest Dr. Jatinder Gulati which was followed by Durga Vandana. The Annual Report read by Mrs. Manisha MadaanPrincipal of B.V.M Dugri highlighted the School’s Achievements in both Academic and Co-curricular activities and presented her vision for the progress of the school. She also assured the management and parents that she will leave no stone unturned to get the school to greater heights in the future also. Students presented Cultural programme and showcased their talent by means of Welcome song, Yoga postures, Swarnim Bharat, Play, Qawali and Mime. A musical performance by students singing the Bhajan enthralled the audience. Bhangra and Giddha set the energy levels soaring with breath taking performance.
The Chief Guest gave the prizes to students who excelled in Academics and Non-Academics also. The Chief Guest Dr. Jatinder Gulati in her speech expressed appreciation for the laudable efforts of Principal and her team. She also stated that she was happy to see that the school motivates its students by felicitating them with prizes as this serves as an impetus to their stellar performance consistently. She urged the students to hone their talents and potentials to not only carve a niche for themselves or bring laurels to school but also aim to bring glory to their state as well as nation. The Vote of Thanks was proposed by Sh. P.C. Goyal Ji (Secretary of BVM Trust). The program culminated with National song.
