B.V.M High School, Dugri celebrated ‘Van Mahotsav’ on 13^th July 2019. Various activities were performed to highlight the celebration. A special assembly was held in which our school teacher Mrs. Gouri told the students about the importance of trees. A student of class VII namely Sehajpreet Kaur recited a beautiful poem which spellbound the audience. Ripanjot of class IX delivered a speech creating awareness for the issue. Students of class I to V planted the saplings to make the earth clean and green which encouraged others to realize their social and moral duty towards our environment. Students of class VI to VIII participated in declamation contest. The students were appreciated for their effective participation. Our Principal Mam Mrs. Ranjit Kaur gave the message to give the ornaments to the earth in the form of plants and trees.
