WORLD EARTH DAY « 22/Apr/2019
*B.V.M Dugri* celebrated Earth Day on April 22, 2019 to generate awareness to save the planet earth. A special morning assembly was held in which our school teacher Ms. Sarabjeet Kaur apprised the students with the importance of environment conservation. Students were motivated to *'Save Water'*, *'Save Electricity'* and grow more trees which is the necessity of the hour. Students of class 7th and 8th participated in Inter house Quiz contest. In this contest, out of three teams namely *'Vasundhara'*, *'Dhara'* and *'Bhumi'*, team 'Dhara' was the winner. Class 9th and 10th participated in Poster making competition. Posters like *"Sansein ho rahi hai kam, aao ped lagayen hum"* were the main attraction of the day. Students also participated in 'Best out of Waste' competition. The winners were appreciated for their effective participation. Principal Mam *Mrs. Ranjit Kaur* gave the message to decorate the earth with the jewels of plants and trees.
