BVM Dugri celebrated teej festival on 8th August 2018 with great pomp & show. This festival marks the onset of rainy season. The tiny tots came dressed in colourful attires. Students also enjoyed by playing under trees on swings. A Punjabi cultural corner was also put up, where charkha, pakkhies, phulkaries, bangles and chhajj were displayed. Students performed different events like giddha and geet. Students also recited beautiful poems. A speech was delivered by a school teacher Mrs Vandana in which she told about the importance of this festival. Principal mam Mrs Ranjit Kaur blessed all the children and told that traditional celebration are essence of our life.
