LIBRARY WEEK « 13/Apr/2024
Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Sr. Sec. School, Dugri, celebrated Library Week from April 7th to April 13th with great enthusiasm and vigor. The event aimed to foster a love for reading and to highlight the importance of libraries in education. Mrs. Suman Sharma, delivered an insightful speech on the significance of libraries in shaping young minds and fostering a culture of lifelong learning. Numerous engaging activities were organized throughout the week for students. Students from classes IV to VII participated in extemporaneous speaking competitions, while Class- I to III showcased their talents through poem recitations. Additionally, students from Class -I to IX engaged in thought-provoking discussions through paragraph writing and reading sessions, enriching their literary skills. Principal, Mrs. Manisha Madaan, commended the students for their active participation and encouraged them to continue exploring the vast world of knowledge available through books.
