NATIONAL POLLUTION CONTROL DAY « 02/Dec/2023
Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Sr. Sec. School, Dugri observed National Pollution Control Day to instil awareness among students about environmental pollution and its disastrous consequences. The day is celebrated every year on 2nd Dec., in memory of the people who lost their lives in the Bhopal Gas Tragedy. Ms. Baljinder Kaur (PRT) explained the significance of the day and apprised the students of the various ways to control and reduce pollution from our environment. A documentary was also shown to the students to acquaint them of this sensitive issue. Young environmentalists of middle section prepared models showcasing different types of pollution and their controlling measures. Principal, Ms. Manisha Madaan, encouraged the students to understand the importance of preserving natural resources and discouraging further depletion of the environment.
