Van Mahotsav Week Celebration ‘He who plants a tree - Plants a hope’
Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Sr. Sec. School, Dugri celebrated Van Mahotsav - the festival of trees within the school premises with full enthusiasm. Ms. Varsha (PGT) briefed the students about the importance of the day and sensitized them about their responsibilities towards Mother Earth. Myriad of activities were planned for the students. Class Pre-Nur to Class I went on a plantation drive with a number of medicinal, flowering and ornamental plants. Class 1 student, Ravleen Kaur, exhibited her love for nature through poem. Students of Class II, III and IV role played various trees and familiarise all with their benefits. Class V, VI and VII students brought their thought and emotion to life through their Poster Making and Slogan Writing activity. Principal, Ms. Manisha Madaan, encouraged students to preserve and plant trees to take a step forward towards a better tomorrow.
