NATIONAL ARMY DAY « 15/Jan/2022
Bhartiya Vidya Mandir High School, Dugri celebrated National Army Day virtually with great patriotic fervor and pride to commemorate the day when Lieutenant General KM Cariappa took over General Sir Francis Butcher as the Commander-in-Chief of India in 1948. Mr. Sahil Arora (Computer Teacher) oriented the students about the importance of the day. Students of Class I paid tributes to the gallant Indian Army by reciting poems of their velour. Khushpreet Kaur of Class VII sang a beautiful patriotic song. Students of Class IX spoke about the different ranks and missions of the valiant soldiers. Principal, Ms. Manisha Madaan, expressed her reverence to the Army. She urged students to take inspiration from the courage and determination of the Indian Army which has been safeguarding the nation.
