Children are like buds in the garden and should be carefully and lovingly nurtured, as they are the future of the nation and citizens of tomorrow.
To commemorate the Birth Anniversary of the first Prime Minister of India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Children’s day was celebrated by the students of BVM High School, Dugri on November 14, 2020 with great joy and enthusiasm. Ms. Vandana, Primary Teacher, apprised the students of the life, work and achievements of Jawaharlal Nehru. She advised children to take inspiration from the life of Nehru and follow his teachings. She also wished them a bright future ahead. On the occasion, students of primary section enjoyed the day by presenting mesmerising dance performances. Students also made poster telling the importance of children. Children’s day is all about respecting and honouring children who are considered to be the future leaders of the nation.
