To seek the divine blessings of Lord Ganesha and to put an end to all the miseries, struggles, sufferings and problems we all have faced during the covid - 19 pandemic, Ganesh Chaturthi (The festival that commemorates the birth of the revered Hindu god Ganesha - the Harbinger of new beginnings and the remover of all evils) was celebrated with fervour and religious spirit by the students of Bharatiya Vidya Mandir High School, Dugri on August 22, 2020. Ms. Pooja (Music Teacher) threw light on the importance of the day. Riya, student of class IX chanted Ganesh Ji’s shloks. Ravinder and Manpreet melodiously presented stuti of Ganesh Ji. Students of class X make posters to show their love and faith in Lord Ganesha. The main aim behind celebrating the day was not only to imbibe the traits of honesty, brotherhood and love in the students but also to enable them to gain insight into Indian culture.
